What's up? No golf fans on these boards?

Europe have raced to 10-6 today, and the US can thank themselves lucky that the margin isn't bigger!

The problem is that US have a couple of players that Europe don't have an answer to, but they also have a few donkeys. Whereas Europe have quality all down the team.

That hole in one by Casey killed USA's chances.
You said it, USA have a few players that aren't too good, while Europe has a 'dream team'.
Even Sergio Garcia is playing well!

Yeah but it's now the round traditionally the Americans excel at, the singles. But, nevermind America there's always next time :D

Paul Casey is playing some unbelievable golf.

And Europe win the 3rd Ryder Cup on the bounce :D . Score 16-8 at mo and a few more Blues up :D .

Some fantastic golf played over these 3 days, brilliant stuff.

Crowd were brilliant too. It's like a football stadium out there.

What's up with the Americans on this board, they're being a bit quiet :shake:

    HAVE IT!

Sorry that I missed this topic. Tiger performed uncharacteristically well. He's never been a strong match player, and this may well be the first time he's finished with a winning record in either the Ryder or President's Cup.

But that's neither here nor there to this discussion. This was a good ol' fashioned ass-kicking. It wasn't even close. I still believe that as far as the best in the world is concerned, Woods, Mikelson and Furyk are among the best in the world. The best 3 of America are better than the best three from anywhere else. However, when you look at the top 12, there's more talent on the European side of the ledger, and it certainly showed this week.

What a brilliant display by Europe and by the much-maligned Woosnam, who at all times seemed to know exactly what he was doing and why.

Well done lads, keep it in 2 years time.
