Safe place to download a "no-cd" crack?

    I recently had to replace my DVD+/-RW drive as apparently the read laser died on it. Since then, I've been unable to play Temple of Elemental Evil. SecureROM fails to recognize the game.

    I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game to no avail.

    I've searched, and found that this is not an unheard of problem, and the solution is a "no-cd crack". I even saw reference to this on the Atari forums.

    However, the link on the Atari forum took me to a crack that was flagged by Ad Aware as a "trojan.win32.generic bt".

    Could somebody please post a link to a "safe" no-cd crack so I can play the game?

    I think you can understand why we don't allow crack discussions on the forums. Even if it's a semi-legit reason for you, we don't want to be enablers for anyone coming by.
