Whenever there is a flood, we always read in the papers or see on the news that colunteers fill sandbags to keep the flood water at bay. My question is, after the water has receded, who empties the sandbags and where do they then put the sand?
    What do you think?

I'd guess that they would be empied on a beach somewhere, and that the same type of people that put them there would take them away

I believe the emptier would be the sandbagemptier, and he would empty the bags on the place where sandbags should be emptied

Good enough answers, little spammer?? :p

[IMG] For some reason i read the topic title as sEnd bags rather than sand. Stupid titchy monitor!

I think that the now heavy (because of the water!) sandbags are taken to a sacred place where the sun shines and then they dry out and are pampered by a team of expert masseurs and whatever you call those pampery people (not nappy testers!!) and then these bags dry out and get taken high up and let out (opened) and the (now dry) sand pours away and flies down onto the people and cattle far, far below and then it lands and looks around and goes, "hello people, cattle, and miscellaneous. how are you all doing?". Then it explodes but not with anything deadly but with a sort of pink candyfloss like goo.

    So there's your answer :p
