The 200 damage is the result of a Deathbringer Assault, one of his special abilities.

I've never gone very far into ToB and when I got Sarevok he didn't have any special abilites....does he have to rest or level up to get these? Doesn't make much sense to me....who would he be using the Deathbringer blow on in hell? I thought I'd be the other way around....

What other special abilites does he get besides these?

Deathbringer Assault is mentioned in Sarevok's bio, he learnt it when with the Iron Throne I think.

    It has the following effects:
3% chance on successful hit of doing 200 slashing damage.
10% chance on successful hit of stunning opponent for 2 rounds (save vs spells at -4 to avoid)

Apart from awesome stats Sarevok doesn't have any other special abilities.

Oooh, now I see what you mean. I thought it was a special ability that he could activate through the "Star" button like a few times per day or something...

Wow, I'm doing 200 slashing damage with him quite often...

Stupid Sarevok killed the green dragon in WK with one hit with that attack. All my preparation down the drain :(
Imagine my confusion when the dragon just died on the first blow :D

Yeah, he does that quite often for me as well, I wonder if there is any way to increase that 3 percent chance, potion or spell?

Maybe the spell "Luck"? It should increase everything by 5% IIRC.

  10. Well, i thought Sarevok was a crappy fighter.. but now i mite choose him instead of Aeria.. hmm.. i also heard that he can change alignment or something like that.. is that true ?

im you dont make him swear an oath to follow you, and pick the good choices during the conversations with him then he will change alignment

(i think that the dialouges are random if you dont have David Gaiders Ascension)

A crappy fighter?, really, well who do you choose over him to have in your party?, I think hes the best fighter, none better, unless you're going to create your own, then maybe.

Yea I had him kill the Green Dragon in 1 hit for me tonight too. Was my first time going up against the Green one, and I didnt really know he was there, so I just wandered up and didnt have any time to get up protections, so I just attacked without 'em. Sarevok ran up and hit once for 13 damage, and the dragon died. I was like, wtf?

[IMG] Sarevok is just plainly cool  there's no other word describing him.
I take him every time through.

Though i cannot imagine a blow that would deal 200 damage. And especialy slashing one.
Anyone has any idea how he might do it?
