[IMG] So what do you do on a saturday night when you can't go out and are alone?

I, like now, Drink wine behind my pc looking for cool sites and eat Pringles, and when it all gets boring I watch a movie!

But most of the time I just change the music and can go for hours!

Well, there is always MAD TV...which has gone straight downhill since 2 seasons ago. Saturday Night Live used to be a perfect reason not to go out when they had such people as Adam Sandler, and Chris Farley on the show, but now it's only funny on a rare occasion.

Also, if TV isn't doing it for me, there is the computer which holds the keys to such places as Sorcerer's Place, #sorcerers, as well as a ton of PC games...

And if the unspeakable should happen and the power fails...there is that stack of Maxumum PC, PC World, Maxim, Stuff, and FHM that I've been meaning to read. :rolling:

Multiplayer games are pretty good at passing the time on those lonely saturday nights. Joint Ops is the bomb still.

When this happens to me i fall back on the archiac means of entertainment: books. It's amazing how few people remember this means of passing time. I've got a fairly massive fantasy book collection (all but 5 of the FR books :) ), so i can go on forever. The computer works too. Oh, and if im in the mood, writing kills a lot of time as well.

Hmm... I try and cause havoc in the FAI, play games, or watch a movie. But generally, havoc is my fav.

[IMG] I get homework done and talk in the FAI mostly. Also use any spare time to work on the Mazzy Mod, or just to play BG2 if I can't think what to write. ;)

I rarely go out. The natural light would destroy me :p

Fending off dark thoughts with activities that require mental focus. Driking lots of coffee. Dreaming of some alcohol (stocks depleted). Fainting from lack of sleep but refusing to close eyes. Contemplating a story or a poem. More likely a story. Checking the forums and channels where I am admin/moderator/operator/whatever. Searching for news material. And a couple more.

To be fair, I used to be out every Saturday, but recently it's not being happening. Trying to save for a holiday to Mexico in January being the main reason! Nowadays, I just sit in, put some music or a film on and piss about on the 'poota!

Finishing various projects, starting new ones, wondering why almost everything is more beautiful during the night, sketching, various other things... *looks out of the window at the night sky*

Fending off dark thoughts. That's it. Oh, and occasioally worrying myself into violent illness over whether or not my ex will show up the next morning so I can see my son. Thankfully though, last night will be the last Saturday night that last happens, but I get to do it again tomorrow night!

Well, I try to go out (to no avail so far) so I come here, eat oreos dipped in milk, read, surf the web, then more oreos. The thrills of life *sigh*

I'm glad to see that the majority of folks here live lives equally depressing as mine. Good work!

Hey, if we didn't have equally depressing lives, we wouldn't all be here in the first place

Besides, what is wrong with not going out on a Saturday night? I actually tend to go out more on Friday nights than Saturday nights. Too many people on the streets on Saturday. I'm not a fan of large (read: huge) crowds.
