For some reason SK is not working with my current SoA-ToB-CtB install. Ive already tried everything in SK (including manually and automatically setting the installation path)to point it at the right files but without avail.

Mainly Im just looking to correct some poor choices I made to my PC's weapon proficiencies.

What other userfriendly save game editors are there that will let me reassign weapon proficiencies in a save game file?
    Thanks in advance

Can't help you with other editors. However, AFAIK, SK only looks in the single player Save folder. So, maybe a stupid question, but are you trying to edit games in the mpsave folder?

Near Infinity can edit all kinds of things in your saved game--more than even SK can (though it's not as easy to use). It's handy to have around for modders and gamers alike.

ShadowKeeper looks in the single player folder by default but there is a toggle button for looking at multiplayer saves.

But I'm with Icelus. Near Infinity is a lot more powerful though it's not as user-friendly.

Don't have any Multiplayer saves and SK is definitely checking the correct BG2 install. Its not able to check all the SoA resources to even properly launch. I think its due to the CtB Mod+ a few other mods I have installed.

Thanks to all for the feedback. People on this board seem always to be so helpful and pleasant here at the Sorcerer's Place compared to most of the other game BB's where an innocent question gets chewed apart by a pack of nasty wolfweres.

Im gonna try Near Infinity as recommended by Icelus and CamDawg and see if it has any issues when reading game resources.

One more item: if you can isolate a particular item or creature as causing an editor such as NI or SK to not function, you should probably bring it to the attention of the mod creator. It's typically something that needs a-fixin'. :)
