    [​IMG] There are obviously trobles at Bioware these days. Lawsuit beetween Bioware and Interplay and the fact that the official boards have been shut down.

    All of this makes me very nervous, I want no delays or even God forbid:holy:, a cancelation....:mommy:

    You're right. That is pretty scary. I don't know what the lawsuit/lawsuits concern, but it can't be good either way.

    The lawsuit concerns changes in the way Interplay was handling distribution after it was bought out. Namely, it was subcontracting in a way that Bioware (and several other companies) felt was a breach of contract. Bioware is but one of several companies that is suing Interplay for this. It *could* have a bad effect on NWN, but probably won't. Bioware has stated that they are continuing to work on NWN fullbore and were as surprised as anyone about the Interplay board issue. The main concern is that Interplay has the D&D license, so if they explode even further, who knows what effect that could have.

    I'm not afraid that another game will be made, but the question is When, and What. The Cool thing about NWN is that the game really diverse from games earlier developped, like BG and BG2. The game has much more in it to become a big game. And what I read about it, it would be a game that wouldn't bore you soon for everyone could write whole new stories. Let's just hope that it will not be cancelled, I also don't expect that.

    NWN? Do you really think they care? Remember Torn?

    Don't break your heads with it all, there are shiny new great RPGs coming very soon from variety of developers. What makes you think that Black Isle(Interplay)/Bioware make only good RPGs?

    You don't believe me? In time, all in time... If I'm patient with anything, this is that thing.

    [​IMG] Hear! Hear! That is what I preachered to Kasio late back in may. He was so upset and focused only on mistakes and bugs of BG2, as it was a matter of life and death. The BG games are just the beginning of a new era of CRPG. We will se more. Much more :)

    Well i'm going to look on the positive side and hope NWN comes out soon. This is the computer program that i'v been looking for all my life! A must have and I hope that they dont kill each other over this.
