I stumbled across a "Sendai" from Amn in BG1 at the south edge of the map and I'm wondering if she has any relation to the Bhaalspawn.

[IMG] I think the game designers thought it would be fun to bring one from BG1

Or they seriously ran out of names :p

But ToB wasn't decided when SoA was released - let alone BG1
Probably just a 'remember this' from Bg1 though ;)

Maybe it's her identical but much lower level twin.

Is she with a couple of fighters? I just about remember this bit. Pretty hard fight if it's the one I'm thinking about.

It is an easy fight, if you use proper tactic.
I do not think she is the same Sendai, but who knows...
By the way, she is assisted by two archers, Delgod and Alexander. Their shots are precise, so this is what makes the battle challenging, but as I have written, it is no big deal if you use a good tactic against them.

Her name is Sendai Argrim and she mentions she's from one of the wealthy families in Athkatla. In BG2 Lord Ketlaar Argrim is a local noble and attacks you in the course of one of the mage stronghold quests.

There's a couple of other names I remember too; Raleo Windspear in Beregost is one. I'm sure there's others, but I'm spacing after a long day.

And of course, a relevant-due-to-BG2 comment of some NPC who mentions about how you (the PC) really needs to travel to Athkatla someday.

I don't think I've ever fought her. The few times I ran into her I've always been playing a goodie goodie party which wouldn't pick a fight

She never really strikes me as a goody goody sort herself and I'm pretty sure there's no rep loss for killing her. The first time I stumbled across her, I said something not particularly offensive to her and she killed me for it.

The next time I didn't bother speaking to her at all. I just had Edwin blast her with fireballs the moment she showed up.
