I just installed Shadows over Soubar and Their are just too many items for me to count even if I take my socks off, so I was wondering what some good ones would be and also the weapon classes they use are confusing like the Great Sword, Broad Sword, Large Sword, etc are these just the same weapon types as the SoA ones or are they new altogether? if the former then is their anyone who know's what the new Item class name and old SoA class name equivilents are?

And also I'm up to the part where Selence gives me the key to go meet her employers and I've check the Coronet and Five Flagons Inn but I can't find them, Bug? and if so how do I fix it? or am I looking in the wrong place?

(sorry for spelling mistakes I stayed up without sleep last night)

In NWN Great sword is the double handed sword, and I'm guessing that large sword = long sword and broad sword = bastard sword.

As to your other question I have no idea, I tried SoS once, and had nothing but trouble with it.

I believe it's the other way around in that Bastard/longsword thingie. It's quite easy to test, if you have for example one proficiency point in bastard swords and two in longswords, just equip one and see how your Thac0 changes. But I really wouldn't try that SoS-mod. I once downloaded it, but I heard it was full of crap, so I didnät bother to install it.

I'd say that katanas scimtars would be the same as long sword, but that is a complete guess.
Katanas fit there well, I think, but scimtars could either be that or with the bastard sword, if my mental image of a scimitar is right.

Scimitar is NOT a bastard sword. Either long sword or maybe even short one. Katana can be used effectively with one or two hands, so it might fit in with bastard swords, though I still would include it in longsword category.

I am playing a Cavalier with ** points in two handed sword style and ***** in two handed weapon style and have tested large sword Great sword and broad sword and not one of them matches the same attacks/round as the Carsomyr (I'm using ease of use) do you think I should justt say **** it and use normal SoA weapons only? then again it comes with some very good weapons and Items.

And btw Mayfairy isnt it a little lame to D/L something and not try it for yourself because someone said not to?

    @ casey:
It might be a bit lame, but this has saved me a few times. For example a game that deletes your entire hard drive when you uninstall it, if you haven't patched it. Then there are these mods people say they have tried those, and not being able to play BG2 afterwards at all. So I believe when everybody says something is crappy.

I've heard these items are not just "very good", but "much too overpowered". With these items you should be able to use highest difficulty level and close your eyes and you still could win the game without breaking a sweat.

But that's impossible the only thing someone can do with their eyes shut is walk and sleep ;)

I hear that a lot of the items were from Icewind Dale or something like that, and how can it be more overpowered the a solo sorcerer?

That's right.. almost. But with the equipment that come with SoS you can also finish this game eyes closed. They are that much overpowered. (So I've heard. Haven't tried.)

I don't know about solo sorcerer, but maybe I should try someday. Maybe even more overpowered than that would be solo sorcerer with buffed stats (from these SoS equipment) and stuff.

Yes its more overpowered than anything ever seen. You stumble across a +5 weapons every two areas when your getting into the middle of the mod. Some give you like 100% magic resistance, and basically its just crazy powerful.

Well don't use them, nobody is been forced to use them, the SoA weapons are still in the game just use the SoA weapons problem solved.
