    [IMG] Hiya. I've started playing ID2 again recently, and I've enjoyed it immensely - until 20 minutes ago.

    I'm at Shaegarne Dam, and I've destroyed the 3 support beams, but there hasn't been any creation of the Wood Planks (used in repairing the bridge) necessary to progress to the next map. I didn't have this problem the last time I played, but that was a different installation.

    My ID2 version was 2.0 at the time that the problem started; I've since patched it, but that hasn't helped. Currently my only viable option to progress seems to be enabling the cheat console and using Ctrl+J to bypass the bridge.

    My question is this: is there another way to progress past this point? I'm rather miffed that, (since the last support beam I destroyed was the one only vulnerable to ranged/magic attacks) I seem to be screwed out of a vital item.

    Thanks for your help.

    (Note: all of my recent saves were made after the destruction of the other 2 support beams; the nearest time-wise before their destruction represents 2 hours of playtime lost, so I'm not exactly viewing that as a viable alternative).

    I have never heard of this problem, and I thought I'd heard every IWD2 problem there was. Every time I have done this stage, the wood has just appeared in my inventory. Sorry I can't be of more help.

    I haven't either. AFAIK all you have to do is put the cursor on the left-most beam, you get the "hand" icon, and you "pick up" the wood into your inventory.

    Heh, thanks anyway, guys. I ended up getting frustrated and just did Ctrl+J after all. At least that worked.... ^^;

    Well, the one with the wood planks should've been the far left one, for reference.

    (Personally, the one that is vulnerable only to missiles is, IMO, the reason they give you Dullcobble's Axe... just give it to someone with a high strength and let it go)
