shapeshifting

    [​IMG] My druid is know level 12 yet is unable to shapeshift to a dire bear. Can anyone help?

    Try sleeping, or check special abilities after.
    If still not, they i don't know I don't play druids.

    I'll try to describe the problem, and the solution, as best I can.

    Problem,

    With the 2.01 patch, some players (myself included) experience this problem. What happens is that your Druid actually does gain the ability to shapeshift into a Dire Bear. BUT ... the number of times the ability is 'memorized' remains at 0 instead of the 4 that you have for your other animal forms. Proof, if you advance to the level where you gain the ability to shapeshift five times a day, you'll be able to shapeshift into a Dire Bear fives a day.

    Solution,

    Use Dale Keeper 2 on your saved game. Go to your Druid. Select the Spells menu. Within this menu, there's an option for which spell type, which is currently set on Priest. Select either innate or wild shape (I forget which). You'll see your wild shape icons. You'll notice that your other animal forms are at x4, while the Dire Bear remains at 0. Simply bring your Dire Bear up to par with x4. It's not cheating if you have to do it to get what is rightfully yours under the rules of the game. I did it and the rest of my game went fine without a hitch.
