Which would you recommend for a halfling fighter-thief multi? And which specific weapons should I go for?

I intend to dual-wield either daggers or short swords (or one of each, but ideally two weapons of the same type).

I have ToB (obviously) and Item Upgrade.

Please consider avery aspect: power, availability, timeliness, roleplay, appearance, etc...

    Thanks!

Shortsword of Mask +4 and Cutthroat +4 are nice. Shortsword of Mask +4 can be bought at Watcher's Keep, so it's not too much a problem, but it does cost a pretty penny. Cutthroat takes time. Arbane's Sword can be gotten very quickly, and I always keep it with me.

I'd eventually get both, but go for short swords first. There aren't that many great daggers at the beginning of the game, but there are tons as you get later into SoA, and then ToB. So my suggestion would be start with getting proficiencies in short sword and two weapon style maxed out (which may take a while if you're playing with the mod that allows multi-classes to achieve true grandmastery) and then go for daggers.

I think you can get a +5 dagger called Firetooth in the Upgrade mod from Cromwell. And there's another nifty +4 dagger (can't think of the name now) in the same mod. Both well worth getting.

Quietus is the one you're thinking of. Increases backstab and puts the target to sleep as well as blinding them. From the Item Upgrade mod.

There's no other daggers listed in the readme, though there is a Firetooth throwing dagger in the Underdark IIRC.

Pixie Prick and Neb's Nasty Cutter are both nice daggers, +3 IIRC.

Short Sword of Mask can be bought early, Kundane and Arbane's Sword are found quite early too. To get Cutthroat +4, you gave to go through more than half SoA to get, unless you go to Spellhold at once.

The Short Sword of Mask can be gained pretty easily, but it's expensive and its web ability never seems to work that often. Most times you seem to have to hit the enemy so many times to web them that they're dead before the web kicks in.
