level 12. It seems almost like a waste of money given that I will do more normal damage with my fists, but the effect on the ninja-to is awesome. Is it worth my money?

[IMG] I just bought the Ninja To for the first time last week, I felt that it was okay to kill some trolls, but I had enough flame arrows to do the job. I was around level 11 at the time, and my feeling is that I was going out of my way to try to use it. I wouldnt buy it again

[IMG] He does not have ToB, he's posting in the SoA-only forum, so don't bother hinting at anything in ToB.

I would recommend you to buy it. Since it's +3 with an extra attack, it hits a lot so the poison damage adds up quickly. Good for spreading damage around groups of foes and disrupting spells. Oh yeah you can hit golems with it too. when I fooled around with this weapon, it rocked but I was at a lower level and fists was still bad.

Can a monk wield this in his off-hand, thereby attacking with both his fists *and* the Scarlet weapon?

Please don't respond if you're not willing to pay attention when you read the question, or if you just don't know what you're talking about. I'm talking about a MONK here, can monks use fire arrows? Sheesh...Monks can only equip weapons in their main hand, no dual wielding of any sort.

Well, don't flame if you don't know all the circumstances. I think it's pretty obvious that Golden Avenger was in a party with someone that could use them.

And just because someone had a momentary relapse and forgot that Monks can't dual doesn't mean you gotta go off.
