Should I Carry On?

    I`m in chapter 5, in the temple. Because of my palladin, I`ve had to kill everything I came across and my party are tired and without healing potions. I`m not even sure I can complete the game by just killing everything here - do I not need some info from these Yuan-ti?
    I can`t find anywhere to rest. The entrance I used doesn`t seem to work anymore so I can`t go outside to rest.
    I`ve got 4 dessicated hearts but can`t continue without rest.
    Can I complete this stage without talking to the baddies?
    A pox on all palladins!

    Why would you need to kill everything because of your paladin?

    reepnorp, because pure paladins won't wear initiate robes.

    davfra, you can't rest if a trap is activated (or some spell is active). I killed everyone at temple, after I had talked them, so I can't answer your another question.

    I think having a palladin spoiled it for me. I couldn`t ask any questions in the temple so had to kill everything.
    I`m going to start again. I think I know a bit more about character selection now.

    I'm a die-hard paladin player and I've never had that problem. I talked to the jungle warriors, they talk to me about the need for subterfuge.

    I killed the initiates, and EVERYONE could wear their robes. In fact, it was my Paladin who tricked one of the Viper's Fang assassins into revealing part of the combination lock.

    Incidentally, are all of you playing the patched version? I'm a little worried that my Paladin won't be able to don the Robes if I install the patch.

    [​IMG] I think it's a rare bug - my unpatched version doesn't let my Paladin wear the cloak. - I dismissed her from the party and got her back afterwards.

    Is your paladin pure or multi-classed? I think you can not wear those robes if your character is pure paladin.
    BTW, you should look to the topic "Initiate Robes". That one is just about this...
