Rumor has it that Shura the Lightslayer may be earning a custom avatar in the near future (saw the post here )

There aren't any hard feelings, but Shura has killed me in at least 2 (maybe 3) threads ... and then wisks away to other projects or army service or such.

This is my only revenge ... slight embarassment. So lets open up a discussion on our favorite author (slash ... get it ... Shura ... slash  ) paladin-slayer.

What avatar do you think most fits this man? What picture could possible make people say, "Yeah, that's Shura!" ... or for people like Rallymama from NJ ... "Sure, that's Shura!" (with a NJ accent, those two words sound exactly the same)

@Math: I'm a proud Pennsylvania girl, thank you very much! I've worked hard to prevent myself from developing that obnoxious Philly accent, too. Now Velcro, on the other hand, is a pure Joisey boy. He can recite all the exits of the Turnpike AND the Parkway where he's lived! ;)

Anyway, to the topic at hand...
A lightbulb with a broken filament?
    A solar eclipse?
A hand holding a pen, scribbling out the sun?

Shame that there's no avatar looking like this.

[IMG] LOL. Hilarious replies. I'll try not to kill you next time, Math.
    :D

Like I said, I'll be most probably placing my order for the FRCS and Faiths and Pantheons through SP by this sunday.

But the avatar might take a little more time, since I will have little opportunity to converse with Tal about that issue from my infrequent access to the internet. Bah. Army sucks.

Anyway, the avatar isn't that important. The issue here is my aquisition of a copy of the above mentioned books and my long overdue contribution to SP's fantastic boards. ;)

Thanks for showing mercy next time Lightslayer ;)

I know the avatar isn't too important, but I couldn't resist.

I always picture you looking a bit like Elric .. no clue why.

The picture of the dwarf (?) killing the angel is cool, but too thick-limbed to be Shura. However the pathos is exactly right! :good: :bang:

[IMG] This might be a bit late in coming but I felt there should be some sort of closure to this topic.

Well, sorry to dissapoint you folks, but here's my avatar! See for yourselves! :p :p :p

Where do you people get all these pics?
Do you make them yourselves or is there a hidden treasure link with them around here?

Aces, go read the FAQ. Anyway, this topic's outlived its usefulness.
