I've played 2nd edition D&D, but my D&D group broke up for college a couple years before 3rd edition came out. I don't own any of the books for that edition.

Anyways, I was just looking at the feats in Neverwinter Nights when a thought struck me.

Do Minotaurs get the "bullheaded" feat for free as a racial bonus?

Thanks for the reply. I wasn't entirely serious when I made the post, as I was chuckling when the thought occurred to me. Still, I did genuinely want to know.

I also want to know why not? I mean, how much more bullheaded can you get than a monster that has traditionally been described as "having the body of a man and the head of a bull"? That definition has dated back to the time of the ancient Greeks and the story of Theseus.

Anyways, that's pointless arguments aside, thanks for the reply. I was being half silly and half serious, and I genuinely thank you.

[IMG] Yuan-Ti don't get Snake Blood for free either ;)

The feat names are more from a group of people sitting around and thinking "What would sound cool on a character sheet?"

It's an interesting question. I would think that those races wouldn't need such feats, as what they represent should somehow already be represented in their racial abilities. But it would be odd if such a character later took such a feat. Oh golly. It's an extra bullheaded bull. Whatever shall we do now!

I agree with Marceror here. Minotaurs, btw, are monstrous humanoids, so they already get a good will save... and as for intimidation (which I think the feat gave), it's pretty darn hard for a human to intimidate a minotaur.

The feat is kinda like "minotaur by affiliation" recognition :D Now I imagine an official meeting, where a few minotaurs in tuxes and shirts give your character a special hat with horns to recognize your contribution to the werebovine cause.

Hmm, we should have a weird game like that. It sounds quite... Slayer-esque.
