silly squib and 'not interested in talking to you'

    Hi all. I've just started ToB and I'm trying to get the Archivist his book of spells so I can buy them off of him. Of course the book has been stolen and it appears as if it was done by a little boy.

    I've been trying to talk to Squib for about 30 minutes real time and all I keep getting is 'he appears busy and is not interested in talking to you'.

    Is there anyway for me to kick start his dialogue?

    Is there any way for me to just make it so that the characters I need to talk to will always talk to me. It takes forever to get some of these guys to actually talk to you!!!

    No cigar. I've tried going to my planar shelter, other buildings etc. as well. I still get that he isn't interested in talking to me. Snotty little son of a... :b

    [​IMG] "X appears busy" is a known bug, and the patch fixes it. All patches on SP are in the Miscellanea subsections.
