well first you have to do the Anomen's murdered sister quest! He will be called to go to his house in the government district...after you have done this quest anomen will be called to the Order of the radiant heart (temple district) to be judged if he is suitable to become a sir or not...note that if you have gone to his father's home and convinced him to avenge his sister, Anomen will not pass the judgement and will never become that noble thing...as you call it. :)

When I had Anomen it took a while between Anomen's sister quest and his judgement. I first did the Anomen's sister quest, then went to the Windspear Hills and when I re-entered Atkathla he got his judgement.

[IMG] Maybe this hasn't got anything to do with it all - but the judgment came pretty quick in my game. As I see - noone of you mentioned that you can actually go to Government District and press that female Governor to add Anomen some thoughts about it all.

If you're finding the "un-sirred" Anomen useless, dump him and pick him up later in the game. The "trigger" seems to be time based and it doesn't matter if he's in the party or not, the clock keeps ticking. I picked him up really late in the game (after finding him less than helpful in his original state) and the "sir thing" started right after the first sleep once he rejoined my party.

I must say his promotion does nothing for his personality or conversational skills.

[Edit: you are quite right Ragusa, what I meant to say is that there is no IMPROVEMENT to his dialogue... he still wins my "most irritating NPC award" hands down.]

[IMG] The "Sir" changes some things with Anomen - his alignment becomes lawful good (iirc) and though he's still an idiot he's no longer mocking all the time :D playing the female romance seems to be a wicked thing :D ...

:D btw - if your char's evil ... why don't you just mess him up by making him take revenge for his sister ... he'll turn evil then and becomes really nasty ... good company for an evil aligned party :D
