Anybody know what happens when you use SK to change NPC's classes? I was gonna make jaheira into a pure druid. Was gonna make minsc into a paladin just for the sheer fun of it.

Know if someone's done this before? Will the game crash or something?

Plenty of people have done similar things, with no problems that I am aware of. Just remember that this actually takes a small amount of work; just changing the class field to paladin will not suddenly give them all the abilities of a paladin. You have to look around and see what you need to add.

It is simple, but you need to do the following for it to work:

Once you change the NPC's class and/or kit, you need to set his/her levels to 0 and XP to 0 also. Also alter his/her HP, THAC0, skills, proficiencies etc. Resume game, they will level up (to level 1) then they will gain all new abilities of the class and kit, hopefully. SK back, put old XP back, and alter HP a little bit, to match the current level. (since they leveled up at level 0, they have one extra hit dice, a side effect)

Hope it helps. I do this often with no problems.
