Slings and STR bonus

    In my new game, Aerie is using a generic +2 sling and +2 bullets, while wearing the Girdle of Hill Giant Strength (STR 19). Funny thing is that she's always doing 15+ damage when she hits! There's no way this kind of damage could be possible unless using the Sling of Seeking.

    If there a bug that lets all slings add STR bonus? Has anybody else experienced this?

    I've never heard of that bug, but it's definitely a bug.

    A standard sling stone, IIRC, does 1d4+1. In your case, +2 for the bullet, and +2 for the sling, so the maximum possible damamge should be 9. I have no idea...

    Actually, the sling itself doesn't add any damage bonus, only to hit IIRC.

    So damage should be 4-7, and I've done over 20 without scoring a critical hit! :confused:

    Some of the slings were adding STR bonus to the damage. Baldurdash fixes this IIRC.

    Well, I'm already fully Baldurdashed (now THAT's a great pick-up line :cool: ), but I'll try to reinstall it tonight and see if the problem's fixed. Of course, I could also just buy the damn Sling of Seeking and kill two birds with one stone.
