[IMG] Does anyone else have a problem with the game slowing down? I played through twice with no problems on the same system. Now after about 10 minutes of playing, the game starts to slow down. Just wondering if anyone else had this problem and if so what they did to fix it. BTW, it only happens in bg2, no other applications have any problems.
    Thanks.

Possibly you have some other applications active in the background ... other things that come to my mind are: Do you have a full install? Do you have enough RAM? Do you have chosen the right settings in the BG-Config?

I turned off all applications.. did a full install... 128 RAM... and I have a 600, which BG considers the "maximum" system... I don't know what else it could be.
Going crazy, BG is my favorite game.

You could try deleting some of your old save games, if you keep a lot (like I do) it can slow things down especialy when loading or saving a game.

Also, if you haven't already, try defraging your hard drive. This can sometimes improve performance.

Also, do you just have BG2 installed, or is TOB installed this time as well? If you have TOB you can try installing the beta patch, to see if that helps.

Games have already been moved. The hard drive has been defraged today. TOB is installed, but I will install the patch. Thanks for the suggestions.
