[IMG] If a human character has the Snake Blood feat, meaning that they "possess the taint of the yuan-ti", shouldn't they be able to pass the Eye of Sseth in Dragons Eye without running away from it? After all, if an aasimar paladin can turn himself into a pseudo-histachii and pass by it with no problem, why should a person with real yuan-ti ancestry have any trouble with it? Sadly, however, this does not seem to be the case... :(

Probably because the taint of the yuan-ti is too limited. You are not a halfbreed yuan-ti, after all. Its the same difference between tieflings and cambions. Cambions are considered 'outsiders', while tieflings are not.

Also, there are other ways of acquiring a yuan ti taint than actual yuan ti heritage. There are less extreme versions of the histachii type potions around.

Just because you have yuan-ti blood in you does not make you one. You have a very small part of yuan-ti in you really...
