So big, So damn

    In case you haven't notice it, it is a worm called "So Big". It sends mails massively. It gets its mailing address from you account's address list. It is very irritating. My mail.com account is full of over 100 attachments within 12 hrs.

    It is always a good thing not to open any attachment at all. "So Big" is usually comes with .pif or .src files.

    If people would ditch Outlook and stop opening random attachments, half of these worms wouldn't even be worth mentioning...

    But I guess people are just gluttons for punishment. :(

    I got an e-mail at the end of June, warning me about the Sobig Virus. I presume this is still the same virus. If you receive an e-mail with attached ZIP-file, be careful, it might contain the virus.

    For this reason, and for deep hatred for all things M$, I use browser-based e-mail accounts. One of them even has a nice address blocking option. Disappoint me, and you may write to me hundred a time daily, it won't bug me :D

    Very powerfull worm it is the latest version of a very annoying worm/virus. Be carefull and try to avoid using Outlook Express or Outlook or whenever you see a strange ending attachment DO NOT open it just delete it and remove it from recycle bin too.
