Well, once I had kill Irenicus and woke up, I check my stuff and noticed carsomyr was in red and so was one of the new belts. I checked my record page and found my alignment had changed to nuetral evil! Anyone know why this happens, or if it goes away, because I have been unable to change by means of the alignment spells :( and it means that I cannot remove carsomyr without losing it!!

Use SK to change it back is my best advice.

What happened is that you did at least on of the Hell trials in an evil fashion. That changes your alignment to neutral evil and means that your paladin (I assume that is your PC) is now "fallen" and can't use Carsomyr. Either use SK to remove the effect (I think you have to do it that way because SK will, IIRC, still reflect your alignment as LG) or suck it up and role-play a fallen paladin.

I've seen the question somewere else already and it's an effect. Your base alignment is still LG.

    Paladins don't do evil.

[IMG] What do fallen paladins do? Are they count as paladins without abilities or regular fighters?

Fallen Paladins are just evil versions of the regular Paladin, except you lose lay on hands detect evil priest spells, and every thing that makes a Paladin what they are, so they are just normal fighters that take more exp to level up.

You'd think a fallen Paladin would get new Necromantic and evil related abilites to make up for it, at least it would give Shura an excuse to play a Paladin :)

All paladin abilities lost. And I mean all. Even the special +2 bonus to saves. Or the ability to use holy swords. Everything is lost. Fighter benefits are not gained. You, however, for some reason can dual-class a fallen paladin.
