ahoy hoy, i just wanted to know if there is Faxe Kondi to be found outside the land of Denmark?

Faxe Kondi is ah sorta like a sports soda that ehm... is "brewed" by the same people that makes Pepsi here in Denmark

I highly doubt that you'll find a product named "Faxe Kondi" outside of Denmark, though chances are that it exists, but is sold under another name... maybe in Norway and/or Sweden.

Iowa city might the backwater of the world, but not Ames.

But anyway, somehow, these days, i have bad feeling about Danish stuff, any stuff. Actually, i haven't gone back home (Malaysia) yet. i wonder what happened to the all popular Carlsberg and Danish cookies in a constitutionally Islamic country.

in Malaysia (im suprised teekc didnt know about this) there is a drink called 100 plus, its an "isotonic drink" but it has the same principals as you described, its UK counterpart would be Lucozade, which im sure and UK resident would have heard of. Another drink you can buy in Malaysia/Brunei which is lke this is "Excel" also advertised as an Isotonic drink, but drink enough and you will get hyper :p

dude, you just made my cry, right there
    you have no idea.
i used to drink that at least once a week. me mom also like it a lot. it's not like all other sweet sugary soft drink. you have no idea how long i have been in u.s. and how much i longed for home stuff. no idea.

but then, i never felt hyped drinking it.

@teekc - Ames is backwater, along with the rest of the state. I know. I lived there for 4 years. :p

Faxe Kondi is a lager or beer? I see some Danish sites (translated) saying it's a 'soft drink', though one I found about the company says it's a lager.

It's a soda, or fizzy drink, or whatever. It's not beer, it's like coke or fanta or whatnots. That would make it a soft drink, and not a lager.

    Thx oli!

and just to finish the topic for good.

like you can see on the homepage oli posted, faxe kondi is brewed by royal unibrew. royal unibrew also brews alot of other things, in this a a lager, or acually multiple lagers named Faxe.

they also brew a number og other things but these are not so interesting, in this thread anyway
