As a pen and paper game, I always loved Druids, but I just don't get how they translated them into BG. Once a druid, or especially a multi-classed druid, hits around level 7, it seems to me for it to be more advantageous to use weapons and armor than to shapeshift to a bear or wolf. I know that later on you get some slick Elemental shapeshifting abilities, but the animal shifts are a wasted trait unless I'm missing something. In Pnp, a Druid can fly around for easy recon, hide as a harmless animal, and do all sorts of things. No such chance here.

On a similar note, why wasn't there a Mage/Druid multiclass offered? That would have been sweet.

I find shapeshifter very interesting to play.
It can be a very good fighter and a spellcaster.

Further on i gave myself lots of innate abilities (spells) which makes him even more versatile.

With TDD items and rebalanced shapeshifter mod he's like a god.
