Some general questions

    (Spoilers ahead)

    Having gone through this game twice years ago, I thought I might try revisiting it. I had, however, a couple of questions:

    1) What exactly are the benefits of taking four or five points in weapon proficiencies, as opposed to staying with three?

    2) Can the entropic blade be turned into dagger so a mage can use it?

    I thought I might try being evil this time, tho I seem to be on my way to building my last TNO: an LG F13MxT10. IMO, this is the most powerful build, especially once you get Trias' sword. So one possibility would be to do the same build, but as LE (for the str bonus the suit of armor guy gives you), tho I would want to use the entropic blade as a mage...

    Also, as an addition to question #1, given a F13Mx build, would it be better to take level 7 and 12 as a fighter (more HPs, melee enhancing tattoos, and the ability to get 4 or 5 pips in a weapon) or as a mage (an additional stat point relative to the fighter, magic enhancing tattoos, and an extra bunch of experience points from Ravel)?

    (oops, these questions weren't very general, were they?)

    Not sure about the specifics on your first question, but for the second I remember the entropic blade being useable by my Mage so I assume it can be turned into a dagger.

    Thanks LB. One of the PST guides I had looked at seemed to suggest that the EB could only be used by Fighters or Thieves. I was worried I'd end up playing TNO as a pure class Fighter in order to use the EB...

    Im distinctly remember that the Entropic blade was usable in my game, and my TNO was almost entirely Mage, with just a few THief levels thrown in.
