3rd time to get through this game now, with some weird and very spontaneous m/c.

My warrior (Gold Dwarf), at lvl 4 I think, m/c to Barbarian. More hit points and rage. I don't really understand this with m/c penalties, but it has do do something with what favored class a character has, right? If anyone could direct me to a basic guide of multiclassing, I'd be grateful.

Rogue 2 (Deep Gnome) switched to Druid. Was planned to become Cleric, but I want to try something new. Anything wrong with this combo?

And a pure sorcerer again. This time though with high con and dex for variation to give him good HP and AC. And he'll use more subtle skills instead of the usual fireball to make it more interesting.

Your Gold Dwarf warrior should take no MC penalties for MCing to Barbarian, since Warrior is his favored class. Your deep gnome will take MC penalties if your rogue/druid levels are more than one apart, since his favored class is illusionist. (Rogue 2/Druid 4 will take penalties.) The favored class only is ignored when assessing penalties.
