As you're probably aware (unless you've been living under a rock for the past few years), Sorcerer's Place has been hosting a small group of quality websites for some time now, but the hosting itself was never much in the spotlight on the site. However, knowing how hard it is these days to get decent free hosting for gaming websites (my own experience with free hosts has been abominable), I have now expanded the Sorcerer's Place hosting to any interested websites that meet my criteria. I've put up a whole new section about it on SP, so check it out.

If you've got a decent gaming website and are in need of a host, or know someone who is, please let them know that SP is taking applications. Anyone who's a regular here knows that I look after our hosted sites the same as for my own, so you'd be hard pressed to find more dedicated hosting than what I can offer.

Tal, you're a legend. Now I wish I had my own site, just so I could have it hosted by SP. :thumb:

I second that motion. You're an inspiration to us all, Tal. :holy:

Bah, you guys are just begging to get a free distinguished member title. :shake:

Anyway I have two practical questions. Is there a language requirement and how much exactly is decent traffic? :p

Ah, yes... language. Yes, English would pretty much be required. Decent traffic would be around 1000 pageviews per day minimum, or clear potential as a growing site, or something truly unique offered. I'll add that to the list of requirements.

[IMG] What a remarkable coincidence! I've been considering creating a new, exciting website of my own, and was just wondering who I could get to host it! -

"Fun With Generally Accepted Accounting Principles"

Harbourboy and JSBB are automatic mods, and Tal will be our honourary drill sargeant.

As for the "fun" part, here's a small taste of a little quiz I'm developing:

    1. Debits are on the:
    a) right
    b) left

    2. Credits are on the:
    a) right
    b) left

I'll leave the rest of the "fun" content up to HB and JSBB.

Bah, Splunge - would your site have any room for a forum on International Financial Reporting Standards? How about some polls on pension accounting? A walkthrough of the latest accounting games?

No way would Tal allow your site. It'd draw too much traffic away from SP. :(
