Sorceror and Mage Xp Levels

    I noticed that when soloing a sorceror, if you let Jaheira and Minsc out of their cages in Chateau Irenicus a sorceror gets a level up. This is by far faster than mages level up. Has anyone else noticed this?

    And second of all if this is the case, and sorcerors do level up faster than mages what is their max level the same as mages or different??

    Sorcerers and mages use the same experience table and they have same max level (31). Both have 89,000 experience points in the beginning, and you need only 1000 more to level up, so it's no wonder, that your sorcerer leveled up so fast. Have you tried that with mage?

    As Harkle said, both classes experience that.

    If you try the same thing with a mage, you'll also level up. Of course, later on, it slows up quickly.

    This is probably because whereas all sorcerers are unimported, and therefore start with only 89,000 experience, but most mages are imported from TotSc, with 161,000 experience, thus the sorcerer will almost always level up faster than most mages. ;)
