Goodell is a hypocrite. The NFLs response to the Monday end-game call was that is was the correct call. If so, why does he say the NFL is sorry for putting the fans through this...????? Through what? I thought they made the right call, Roger? What an effing idiot he and the rest of the NFL management team is. Pay the fricking refs, it is obvious they are an integral part of the game.

There's no denying that the replacement referees were terrible. They basically did just about everything wrong. I thought they were hypersensitive when it came to things like calling pass interference, and you were able to get away with a ton of cheap shots and late hits without it being called. It's like they called all the little stuff and let a lot of the big stuff slide.

As for the Packers game - yeah, if I were a fan I'd be pissed. As for Goodel's explanation, I thought the league stated two things in regards to the play: 1) Golden Tate committed pass interference on the play, which the referees missed, which would have negated the TD. 2) It was the "right call" based only on there not being conclusive evidence in the replay to overturn the call. That doesn't mean the initial call was a good one. I also got a kick out of how Goodel said that Monday night's game, "played some role" in getting the deal done.

I think the other group of people who are really happy about this are the sports book. How do you make accurate lines if you have no idea if the game will be officiated in a fair manner? Imagine how many people lost money on that game. The Packers went into that game as 3.5 point favorites, meaning if the right call had been made, they not only won, but covered.

The MNF call caused a 150 million dollar swing in Vegas. That ref better watch out, there has to be some really pissed off peeps out there.
