    And yet the first thing I see when I visit this site is and advertisement window that pops up advertising about an adult finder showing a picture of a half naked girl in a thong...

    Not that I have anything against women in thongs ;) But it seems kinda weird now after I've read the rules.

    Tal doesn't have any previous control of the advertisements but they are supposed not to contain anything adult or obscene. If you see something like that, drop him a PM and he will deal with the advertiser. The advertiser probably doesn't have direct control of the advertisements from companies, so the process may take some time.

    [​IMG] Yes, I saw that one, and reported it to the advertisers. Of course, it'll probably take until Monday before they remove them. This is the second time they've slipped adult ones in... I'll probably have to start looking for another advertising provider. I made it clear the last time I don't want any adult advertising on the site.

    The problem with google is that it underlines words in your text on a random basis - at least random from your point of view - which creates a focus on certain words that your perhaps don't consider the most important in your text. Next, google has a policy: no commercial sites and restricted content. It's up to them what violates their policy, so it doesn't work for everyone.
