Speedy Rune Assassins

I hope this hasn't been mentioned before, but isn't it odd that the one of the assassins that helps the tanner in the fight in his basement is very fast? I was hoping he'd bring in a pair of boots of speed but nope... Has this got anything to do with the fact that they are "rune assassins"?

Hehehehehehe...relax. Mistakes are part of us! I thought the same when I faced them there...and I just realized the fact of the Potion of Speed as you did a few hours later the encounter.

ya, if you look at the game log, you'll see him use a potion, but it's a potion of invisibility, so he must have used it before you came down the stairs.

 

Damn, I wish there was a way of getting the potion off of hime brfore he used it, as well as making the fight somewahat easier for low level people, you could get some nice helpful potions as well.
