    What happens to Imoens after mellician turns her to a slayer at the end of the game? Does she really die? If she does can you prevent it?

    I've had Imoen in my party each time I have completed Throne of Bhaal, and never has that happened.

    Surfenboy is referring to when the Ascension mode is installed, when Melissan does indeed turn Imoen to the Slayer.

    Just sit tight, kill Irenicus and other enemies, and endure Imoen's attacks without hurting her. She will eventually turn back to her former self, and you'll get her services as a mage/thief back.
