    It's England's national day tomorrow, to celebrate our patron saint. It's a time for all Englanders to show a bit of national pride and patriotism.

    I'll be hanging the St. Georges flag out my window and will feel I'm proud to be English :) .

    Sadly, this is still not a national holiday for us and is hardly ever celebrated properly. A shame, a damn shame!

    Not only will I have the flag out but all day I'll be wearing England shirts and only eating and drinking english food etc. I'm very proud to be English so would you take the german word out please...

    As far as I remember, St George wasn't even English. But I might be getting that mixed up with someone else.

    You know, I didn't even know it was St. George's Day until I read Barmy's post. But everyone knew when it was St. Patrick's Day, St. David's Day and St. Andrew's Day :(

    Sad that we can't celebrate our own patron saint through political correctness :toofar:
