    So here I am, wondering about star signs. Now I really believe in that stuff. Not horoscopes but real astrology. How star signs can affect personality. It's typical of mine to be into it. I'm an aquarius. So, which are you?

    And ditto on the astrology, I'd like to study it more one day, horoscopes are usually just ridiculous, they could at least be amusing if they're going to be that bad! :p

    I was having a look back, and found it. About october last year. I searched using star sign, but it specified zodiac..... oh well.

    Ok, question: the star sign is determined by the constellation in which the sun rises on the day you were born, right? Now you believe that affects your personality, but the sun actually rose in carpicorn that day and not aquarius. So, shouldn't that make you a capricorn?

    I'm a virgo according to western astrology, but I have more faith in Chinese astrology.

    Modern astrology just gives all the signs equal parts of the year and even ignores a sign completely. The 12th of February is actually in Capricorn, just like my birthday is really in Leo, and not in Virgo at all.

    I'm no expert and actually pretty gullible, so the story I linked to could be complete bogus. However, if it is true, and astrology is true, wouldn't your personality be affected by the sign the sun was actually in, and not by some sign which has little to do with the day you were born on at all.

    I'm a Virgo. Personally though I belive that astrology in general is bogus and the personalities they are said to bestow can be found, in small doses, in pretty much anyone..
