    Anyone watches this serie?

And which one is your favourite. I'm not decided between the Next generation and Voyager.

IMO Picard is the best actor in any of them. Tuvok i great too the way everybody make fool of him ;)

    Opinions,...

I only saw a few series of them, but I don't think they are bad, just a little old ... ;)

Voyager has to be the worst piece of crap StarTrek has ever become. I haven't seen Enterprise yet, but from what I've heard, it might actually be a competitor ;)

I think DeepSpace9 was very good, although the ending was pretty damn crappy, when compared to the rest of the show.

And yes, Patrick Stewart is by far the best actor in StarTrek. How they got their hands on an actor of his caliber, I don't understand.

Yeah, well the first time i saw it i thought of it as a crap too.It seemed old, unrealistic and all that.

But once you get to see some (like 6) episodes in a row you get addicted right away. ;)

I have seen most of most of the serie(I hope you had that right) and by and large my favorites are The Next Generation and Deep Space 9. Mayhap that I dont like most of the others as much is that I saw TNG first and the overall way it works is the same. DS9 is different because of the fact they couldnt move the station they had to have more charitor development.

I've had the misfortune to zap into the new "Enterprise" series already. It really, really sucks. I just wonder, how long it takes to get that series axed.

But I loved Data, Worf and Jean-Luc Picard. That series acutally rocked. But the other ones get just crappier and crappier.

My favorite Star Trek series is Next Generation (good writing and acting) followed by either the original series (bad acting and writing but campy and fun) or DSN (decent writing and acting). Voyager comes in a distant fourth (it had its good episodes but a lot of poor ones) leaving Enterprise dead last. I only watched the first half dozen episodes of Enterprise so it may have gotten better but after watching those first six I was so bored with it that I wasn't willing to invest any more time in the series.

Well, the only Trek flavours I've tasted have been Original Series, TNG and Voyager, and TNG is my favourite by far. Patrick Stewart is just too good.

I've had the misfortune to see one episode of Enterprise and it made me wonder what its creators were thinking... Or better, why weren't they.

Gotta say that Jolie Blalock (sp?) the vulcan makes Enterprise almost worth watching

For quality, I have to choose TNG. Great chemistry between the characters, great acting, wonderful story-lines ... even good movie spin-offs!

I vote for DS9. Avery Brooks is a great actor, IMHO, and while he isn't as good an actor as Stewart, his character was more complex and interesting. Voyager sucks big time, and while I really like the actor who is the captain on "Enterprise" (actor's name escapes me, but I loved him in "Quantum Leap"!) the rest of the show is trash.

[EDIT] the actor is Scott Bakula; I remembered!

My favorite is DS9, good storyline, Founders, Trills, big interstellar war, political intrigues...

Enterprise is the worst, by far, very far.

I'm a trekkie. My favorite serie is DS9. It has been my favorite since Way of the Warrior (first episode of the fourth season). The story line and everything is great.

Unfortunately I haven't seen much of Enterprise, they don't show it in Holland yet. I was thinking of also buying Enterprise completely on video, but decided to wait until it came out on DVD. I have seen some episodes however, which I downloaded from the internet.

I'm too young for the original series, but I was raised on TNG.... I refuse to acknowledge that there are series after that, because then I just become so disillusioned that I...Well, I'm angry for about 5 minutes, but still.
Patrick Stewart? Amazing. Not just in that role, he is an amazing actour in general, but he brought something to that show that can't be defined. After that, I have to go with Michael Dorn and Brent Spiner, respectively.

I used to like tng a lot, but then I saw every one of them, and realized that most of the actors aren't very good, save patrick stewart. Now I don't really like them much.

I second the motion! :D You can catch her on Boston Public but she's not quite as appealing.

I've followed all the shows except Enterprise. I liked TNG the most also. I see that no one realy likes Voyager. It's not that bad. I like the idea that a small ship tried to make it all on its own. It made also for closer ties between the crew. If it were Enterprise D(?), it wouldn't have been as challenging.

Bah! Enterprise is good. It started out slow, but I've enjoyed most of the episodes. All the Treks have had stinkers, and it takes a while for the actors to get into their rhythm. When I see some of the first year of TNG... ugh, the acting is so much worse than in the later years.

I think my favorites are TNG and DS9. I never really liked Voyager much, though enough to keep watching it.

When I was younger, I was hardcore Original. Then I swapped over to Nextgen, and only a few of the original episodes were any good to me.

Then I moved to Voyager. Mind you, this only occured after about the 3 season of the series.

I find a lot of the old generation ones dumb. The "morality" lesson is just too thick. But a few of them stand out as really good episodes. Like the one where they go back in time to the 1930's, and that one chick *has* to get hit by a truck. Gateway to Forever, or something.

The first two season of Nextgen were nasty. I didn't watch them when they were being made, but over the years, I've caught most of them one single time. The last couple of seasons were good.

And the same with Voyager. I liked the series finale. And I really only watched the last 3 years of it. I think I started watching it the year the series finale was done ( :) ).

Enterprise has had a few good episodes. I'd say it's a little more rocky than the previous ones, but I'd also tell you the first season had more good ones in it than any of the others.

The best Star Treks have been the ones where the morality lesson is extremely subtle, and there's more of a crisis than a lecture on philosophy. I don't worship it, but I think there's some neat things in there.

Most of the Star Trek series are just too plain bad to watch, but they all have some jewels among them. Borgs, for example; when I hear that there is borgs I will definitely want to see that episode.

Voyager vs. Next Generation vs. DP9
    #1 is TNG
    #4 is DP9
    #-5 is Voyager
