[IMG] Here are 4 previews to the four SW games that will (hopefully) be released this year.

    Basically, these four are:

    1) SW: Knights of the Old Republic - A SW RPG set 4000 years or so before A New Hope being made by BioWare. Not much is known about this game, but it sounds great

    2) SW: Starfighter - Along the same lines as Rogue Squadron, vastly superior graphics, takes place during the Phanton Menace.

    3) SW: Galaxies - SW MMORPG, takes place during the height of Emperor Palpatine's power. From what I've heard, it will be the NWN of SW.

    4) SW Jedi Knight II : Jedi Outcast - sequel to the great FPS Jedi Knight (If you hadn't already guessed that ;)). Graphics look great.

Read them... it'll end your boredom ;) :D

As a fan of the original Dark Forces, who went on to Jedi Knight and Mysteries of the Sith, Outcast looks very appealing.

Starfighter does too, as I love Star Wars flight sims.

Not too sure about Knights of the Old Republic yet. And Galaxies looks good, but I think it's going to be a pay to play deal which does not go well with me.

You can forget about SW: Knights of the Old Republic. If that comes out sooner than next year (if then), I'll eat my hat. Or would, if I had one. :D

Sadly, only JK2 looks any good. JK and MotS were the best single player fps games, and multi could be fun on a LAN. The final 3 levels of Mystries ruled. Of course this is the second 'sequal' to JK. They scraped the Obi-Wan game they started after TPM :( The RPGs are so incomplete it's hard to judge, but i don't have much hope for them. And I want another x-wing style sw flight sim. Rogue Squadreon was to arcadish.

What do you mean they scraped Obi-Wan? It is released, although it is only on the X-box, and apparently it is pretty bad.

And why don't you have much hope for the RPG? You're saying that a company that released some of the best RPG games that their are just now will somehow manage to make the game bad? I think not.

I agree about the lack of proper space sims - I loved X-wing vs. Tie fighter, but my joystick doesn't work on my new computer, so I can't play it. However, the graphics for Star Fighter look great, and I have no doubts that it will be a great game.

I didn't know they moved Obi-Wan to the x-box. As far as I'm concerned that is the same as canceling it though.

But my doubts about the rpg has more to do with doubts about the sw universe as a setting for an rpg than any doubts about Bio. All the good sw games have been action based (xwing, dark forces, racer) and the real bad ones have been more strategy/roleplaying type (Rebellion, The Phantom Menace game). I know Bio didn't do those but it don't give me much hope. Of course maybe Bio is a new hope :)

I do wonder if the reason they haven't done any new xwing games is cause of the complete lack of cool ships so far in the prequels or some falling out between lucasarts and totally games. XvT is still my favorite flight sim, though I don't play much anymore w/o all my college buddies around to kill.

    Jedi Knight 2! Ahhhhhh-Hahhhhhh!

When I saw the press release on that one I almost wet myself. Have you downloaded the trailer for it (from the home page)? Ohhhhhh my goodness. I don't think I've ever been so excited over a video game.

Running up walls, sniper rifles, remote detonation packs...oh the digital goodness.
