Hey guys

I'm getting married on the 7th November this year and my partner and I are trying to organise our ceremony.

Rob is a BIG Star Wars fan and, as I have put the kibosh on having a gold bikini instead of wedding dress, I'd like to incorporate a Star Wars reading into the ceromony.

Does anyone know of any quotes that might be fittingly romantic from Star Wars that we can use?

Unless, of course, that isn't in keeping with what you had in mind. In which case, you could just use a blaster.

Just make suere you say "kicking" rather than something else.

 

We're doing the deed at a posh hotel, I don't think they'd appreciate blood or blaster smoke everywhere....plus there'd be all the paperwork

...that's about all I got. If you get married in the winter, around the holidays, you can always add Christmas in the Stars to your music list. Also, don't forget the Star Wars Gangsta Rap.

Other miscellaneous:

Family Guy's "Blue Harvest" has a lot better quotes than the original...I suggest you watch that episode and use some quotes from that.

It's memorable, but maybe not if it's used in an odd context: "I have you now!".
I guess there's always room for, "The force is strong with this one" as well.
In a pinch: “You’ve never heard of the Millennium Falcon? … It’s the ship that made the Kessel run in less than 12 parsecs.”

 

I'd prefer a mildly altered one:
"Before we marry, there is something you should know about us."
"What?"
"I am your father's, brother's, nephew's, cousin's former room mate."

(Admittedly, it's not from Star Wars, but Spaceballs, but the reference is still there, isn't it? Also, he says: "Before you die", but that would be rather inappropriate for a wedding, naturally.)
