    [IMG] This is for all you experts out there.
    I know how hit points are calculated once you have started the game.
    My question is, if you start a new SOA game, how are your PC's HP calculated? It seems I never get the max HP.
    thanks

    I have it on Easy, so I get max HP. Though I think you get max reguardless of what difficulty level you set.

    Example: Cleric level 7 with 16 Con:
    1d8 (if maxed, take 8)
    8+2 (for Con) = 10
    10x7=70

    The only class that every gives me problems is Monk. Sometimes it's maxed and sometimes not.

    What class(es) are you needing math for?

    You get max hit points for difficulties below core (so easy and normal). For levels of core and higher, the computer rolls for your hitpoints, although I assume it still gives you the maximum possible hitpoints at level 1, and rolls the remainder of the levels.
