Still can't get the Ice Temple Shadow door open!

I checked out the forum, tried the suggestions, re-traced my steps, re-installed the game and then installed the patch, re-aimed the mirrors and fired the prizm...and I STILL can't get that last door open. What am I missing? I'm going nuts here!

 

Check if you have all three keys and have killed all the three priestes. Sometimes you will have to step a couple of times on the shadow before the door opens.

 

Yeah, I read about the keys and I only seem to have two. I can't find Oria's key anywhere. I've killed all the priests and been into all the areas. Maybe that's one reason.

I didn't understand about stepping on the shadow though...

You have to win at least one battle in Battle Square room to aquire Oria's key.

 

Or, three battles on one "level". Sounds like that's the one thing you're missing; you have to do that before you can move past the temple.

Went back and got Oria's key. I'd done it once before, but must have lost it. Fired the prizm again and still no joy. The door just says EMBRACE THE SHADOW. The walkthrough and a previous reply mentioned stepping on, but I don't even know where it is.

I never thought I'd get senile enough that opening doors would be a challenge

 

You're right, there are 3battles needed, sorry for that

You must use the Kuldahar painting, and choose the Lysan dialogue optin and then use the stairs. You'll be teleported to the room where you must step on the shadow...

figured it out, I hadn't teleported into the cleansing room, so I hadn't found the shadow. Thankyou very much to all of you for your help and advice. This is my first day on this board and you've done fine things for your community!! See you at the Purple Wyvern!!
