[IMG] When one reads NRO from time to time one has to suffer the usual cheerleading characteric to it's pages. I don't complain - they're neo-cons after all, and it was my choice to read it.

So, generally speaking, Richard Lowry was perfectly in tune when he published his article titled What Went Right - How the U.S. began to quell the insurgency in Iraq, beginning with the line:
Well that was on April 27, 2005.

On June 28, 2005 - without that anything really important happed in Iraq, the usual carnage aside, he wrote a new article, titled It’s Winnable
He implies that at some time during the last two months, the U.S. have stopped winning - and such a statement on NRO ... amazing ...

Maybe Lowry doesn't write his own stuff or worse, he doesn't reread own writings. Pathetic.

National Review Online, a neocon outlet, and a pretty pathetic one if you ask me ...

Besides, I decided to change the topic title to Straight face - or the Neo-Con Limbo

James Wolcott wonders aloud how Lowry's next articles will be titled, and suggests: "There's Still an Outside Shot at Winning," and for a few months after that: "How We Could Have Won If All of My Previous Articles Had Panned Out."
