Strange Bug

    [​IMG] I was in the Slums area to find and return the ring to the followers of Lothander. I was told to go to Borinall's house. As soon as I entered the house the game crashed to windows. When I restarted the game I didn't have any location icons on any area map to include new areas I hadn't been to prior to the crash. I'm running a full install with the certified patch. Anybody run into anything like this or know of a fix short of re-installing?

    Beta patches are not perfect; that's why its a beta. The only thing you can do is re-load and hope it doesn't happen again :( (also, I have heard that burns of the game crash somewhat often)<-- If you have one; I don't know.

    You're right the non beta patch was released around 30 November.

    [​IMG] Just an FYI, if you have to reinstall save all of your saved games. You can move them all back into the saved games folder and you'll be all set.

    If you mean those little dots on the area map... they can usually be brought back with the little button on the top left of the map!
