I'm playing with Viconia right now and I've encounter an odd problem.

Well right now she's using a girdle of *something* strength. But in order to make her worth while, once I get it, she'll get the girdle of fortitude. I know there's one set of strength gloves out there, but once you use those for Crom Faer, they're gone. Is there another set lying around or should I just be giving Vic some major point in war hammers?

Keep both belts. "Use" the fortitude belt after you rest (it lasts for 8 hours) then switch to the strength belt.

It also depends what she is wielding. If you don't have a weapon you want her to wield at all costs, there is a very good Mace in the Copper Coronet (not the bonus merchant) that sets her strength to 18 and is a +2 weapon. You'll need to liberate the slaves in the back before being able to purchase though.

I don't see why making Crom Fayr would be a problem, just give that to her once you get it.

Since we're on the topic of strength enhancing equipment, for an evil character you can get +2 to str in Hell which along with the Fire giant str girdle, you can set your str to 24, and I'm curious since I have never tried it before, if you get the strength bonus from the WK LtM machine will that stack to 25 str? or can you only go as high as 24?

casey, I tried that once. IIRC, the Hell bonus did stack with the girdle of Fire Giant Strength, but the bonus from Lum's Machine did not.
