Note, this is not the door i controlled the illithid to open, but i still do have some controll thingys left.

have your main character change into the Slayer while standing in front of the door. the door will open once you become the Slayer.

There is another way to open the door without submiting to Bhaal (you naughty naughty person you!), albeit more complicated. First go to the room to the far right and dispatch the Flayer. Collect some of that liquid from the pool and head to the room to the southeast. Pour the liquid into one of the machines behind the slaves (not the big one) The slaves will awaken and start the big machine for you. Then, get as many circlets from it as possible. These handy things will charm ANYTHING! Now, go back to the room with the liquid. Another flayer will be there so use the circlet on him/her/it. Take the creature to the door to open it. Repeat this for the second door.
Also, remember, you have a very limited number of those circlets. GOOD LUCK AND HAPPY HUNTING!!

That's the same thing I did Crimson. I only turned into the slayer once through the whole game. (At the very end battle) This time though, I'm considering changing into it numerous times to see if you actually get better at controlling it like it says you can.
