stupid question about reputation

    Go to your character record page(hit 'R'). If you scroll down you will find a line named:
    "reputation: disliked/avarage/popular/heroic (1-20)".
    Your parties reputation is determined upon the choices you make throughout the game. Evil or non-lawful actions will lower the rep of your party.

    By the way, it's a very good way to raise your money. Every time you're being attacked, you gather up to five suits of armour (1800 each) and several valuable spell scrolls\necklaces.

    The reputation increase is only several thousand. So, after seven or eight battles like that, you're rich ! Notice that guards only attack with normal weapons, so if you have protection from normal weapons available, you can kill them without missing a beat.
