[IMG] I have never backstabbed before!! I tend to specify in the attack where I send my fighters in to hold up the opposing close combat enemies while my mages and priests go at the back causing havoc to the enemy!!

Does anybody have a favourite strategy to handle those surprise attackers or the expected battle where you enter an occupied room?

If you are going somewhere you know is packed with enemies from previous experience, I move forward very slowly with the hardest character I have and tempt them out 1 by 1, thats how I did that room in the De'Arnise keep with the 5 or 6 Umber Hulks in it. get them 1 at a time.

Did you know that if you make the dog soup and cast invisibility on 1 of your characters you can go in, travel down to thr room with the bones put it there, go out the other way and the Umber Hulks will be gone!!

Or you can kill them for exp!

Cast a Cloudkill and close the door. Cowardly but no one wants to fight Umber Hulks.
