What are your favourite summoning spells? I like the priest spell call undead at higher levels (against Illithid), the mountain bears and Wyvern. But why would anyone cast Gate or summon other demons? Also what is the best Djinee, Efreeti or the other one?

Does Minsc have a quest? How come Keldorn doesn't get any exp. when his wife goes off? Fave NPC/ Worst NPC any views? (probably done all that before but what the hell) My fave NPC is Edwin even though I only had him briefly at the end of my last game. The whole evil wizard thing is cool.

On another note Beholders are my least favourite enemies becuase the maze spells are a pain in the ass.

My Child of Bhaal was a bard called Nyladin on my first time through the game. Even though they get alot of stick they are not THAT bad. His bard's song is good at later levels, he could use katana's as a back up fighter, cast level 6 mage spells, the lore ability means that you can identify just about anything in the game and he had plenty of HP's. With all that said Bards are definitely the worst class save perhaps for Barbarians which are totally superfluous in my eyes.

tis be a matter of preference
bards are fun to play, but most people only get fun from playing kensai/mages so go figure
bard is not that bad in combat and its a walking infinite identify scroll as well
He can do everything: a little fighting, a little thieving, a little spellcasting
heh, me thought's to go and start playing bard right now :)

[IMG] The Bard can never specialize in anything because he dabbles in a little bit of everything. I prefer a person with a certain specialty, so that everyone has one main function. I think I'll try the monk. Everyone says it's really good.

[IMG] Goofing off with Jaheira once I found out I really liked the spell Call Woodland Beings, (Priest Lvl 4) where you can summon a nymph who not only can heal your party, but cast spells like hold person and confusion at enemies too. If that's not good enough for you they have this hilarious battle cry.
Lately Edwin and I have had a Carrion Summons fetish.(Mage Lvl 6). Think of the catepillar looking enemies you find in the sewers, that's what they are. They've got great attacks.

    [IMG] I like these:
Animate Dead (once the caster is level 15)
    Mordenkainen's Sword

For a druid Conjure Fire Elemental is great and you get to cast it after only 200,000 xp.
