Swashbuckler vs. Fighter/Thief

    I'm gonna start a new game soon and I just can't deside which one of those two I should take as my second 'main character' (main character is a monk, just going to start mp game and copy it to sp)

    So which one should I choose?

    P.S. When you start a multiplayer game, save it, copy it to single player and continuing it there, you'll still have fun things like romances? (if you take e.g. Jaheira with you)
    Just to make sure I don't miss that. :D

    I'd defenitely (sp?) take the swashbuckler, because you'll be able to came at the "higher" levels, aye?!
    I hated Aerie for that. She was a hell of a character, being a mage and a cleric, but she couldn't use the higher mage spells. (Which you can use if you be the swashbuckler!).

    How can you use the higher mage spells as a swashbuckler?? It's a thieves kit so how do they get mage spells??

    Mage spells, 'twas about aerie...
    I'd take a swashbuckler 'swell, jest fer his/her AC boni, and full thieving upgrade 'swell.
