[IMG] Well, I just made it through SoA with the following mods installed:

    Ease of Use
    Item Upgrade
    Tortured Souls
    Unfinished Business
    Nathaniel

Not planning on playing through ToB as my romance is over (Nathaniel is SoA only) and most of the stuff I can upgrade appears to have already happened in SoA (LOVE that CF +5!). Cespenar doesn't seem to have much else to offer.

I'd like to run through SoA again with some different stuff, and I'd like to ditch Tortured Souls and Nathaniel this time. Can I just uninstall those mods, or do I have to uninstall everything? I THINK the mods I'm looking to add are all Weidu, so am I right in assuming that I can just add them on to the ones I'm keeping in any order?

Any information would be welcome, as I'm a hopeless moron when it comes to technical, behind-the-scenes programming stuff (although I DID track down and fix a TS bug all by myself using Near Infinity! It was a proud, proud moment for me.)

I guess you can uninstall any mods you want, it 'shouldn't' cause any bugs.

Which mods you will get for the next time around? I suggest tactics and improved battles and ascension. I know they are hard, but trust me, you CAN still do them with some work and you will feel immensely satisfied! And me and other guys will always be here to offer help, if you ever need it.

    What say you?

Thanks for the feedback, SS. I'm still worried about the uninstall...I checked a few older posts last night where it seemed some people had some problems. I REALLY don't want to have to uninstall everything (especially SoA and ToB themselves) and have to start fresh. I'll try to uninstall TS tonight (fingers crossed).

No Tactics this time around, either! I'm more interested in mods that provide new content (quests, areas, characters, items) than mods that just make things harder. I may be in the minority, but Mellisan is tough enough now, as far as I'm concerned! I WILL try Tactics eventually, but I'm looking for different stuff right now.

I'll keep EoU, Item Upgrade, and Unfinished Business this go round, and add Dungeon Be Gone, Planar Sphere, Kelsey, that new store (Something & Silence) and maybe Improved Spellhold dungeon...that should be enough to keep things interesting. ;)

About mod uninstalling troubles, if you have so many different mods like I do, the program will first uninstall some of them even though you didn'T want to, then will re-install them. I guess there is a strict order the program is forced to obbey. If you want to uninstall a very small component, it first uninstall some bigger mods and then re-install them once it finishes uninstalling thr component you wanted. It is annoying as I had to wait for a good 30-40 minutes just to uninstall a single, small component from EoU. Other than that, no bugs or problems.

Have fun! And give us feedback!

Doesn't Planar Sphere add a very difficult and overpowered villain to fight, anyway?

^^ Exactly! I don't mind a tough fight here and there...I just don't want to have to battle my way through superpowered kobolds and goblins my entire way through the game. :p

I'm toying with adding Solaufein as well, and I 've heard there's a hard battle with that one. We'll see.
